In January, our department responded to 10 calls for service. The calls ranged from carbon monoxide alarms, power pole fires, vehicle fires, home appliance fires, and assisting with vehicle accidents.

In February, the department responded to 13 calls for service. The calls ranged from vehicle fires, assisting with vehicle accidents, reports of smoke, structure fires, brush fires, and smoke alarms.

The BMFVD also proudly escorted the BMHS wrestling team out of town as they headed to state, while also escorting our BMHS Boys Basketball team home after winning the 2A state title with a few fireworks thrown in for a bit of fun.

There are only a few days remaining to purchase raffle tickets for the BMVFD New Year's raffle. Tickets can be obtained at various local businesses where cans are placed or by contacting a member of the fire department.

While we'd love to have these guys fix your emergency, they're better for a few laughs at a Christmas party than putting out a fire. Our BMVFD crew is ready to save the day, holidays and all. We wish everyone a very Merry Christmas!
