Are you ready to LEVEL UP with the ECPS Summer Reading Challenge?

Make reading a part of your student's summer adventure! Our Dolphin Scholars have lots of books to read and enjoy. We also encourage families to visit the local library, Braswell Memorial Library, to check out even more great books. We will also host Drop in and Read again this summer at Coker-Wimberly's library.

Students also have access to Sora, an online e-book platform. To access Sora, students can log in through Clever using their school credentials.

Hello Dolphin Families!

This is Principal Harley with an important reminder that tomorrow is the last day of the 2025–2026 school year. Please note that we will have an early dismissal, and all scholars will be dismissed at 12:15 p.m.

As we wrap up another successful school year, I want to thank our scholars, families, and staff for a wonderful year of teaching, learning, and growing together. We have celebrated many accomplishments and created lasting memories along the way.

One of the highlights of the year was our House competitions! Congratulations to Amistad, Altruismo, Isibindi, and Rêveur for showing teamwork, leadership, and school spirit throughout the year. A special shoutout goes to Isibindi House for finishing the year with the most House points and earning the title of House Champions! To celebrate their victory and show our Dolphin pride, we are inviting all scholars to dress down tomorrow in Isibindi's House color—GREEN!

Thank you for a fantastic school year. We hope everyone has a safe, relaxing, and enjoyable summer break. We look forward to seeing our Dolphins again next school year!

¡Hola familias Dolphin!

Les habla la directora Harley con sus actualizaciones semanales.

Queremos dar un enorme agradecimiento a todos nuestros padres y tutores por asegurarse de que sus estudiantes llegaran a la escuela todos los días y a tiempo durante nuestra ventana de exámenes EOG. Nos enorgullece compartir que tuvimos un 100% de asistencia para las pruebas, con solo una ausencia justificada. ¡Gracias por su apoyo y colaboración; realmente se necesita un pueblo para lograr el éxito!

Esta semana concluiremos nuestra ventana de exámenes con la prueba de Read to Achieve de 3er grado y las repeticiones de exámenes para los estudiantes que aún no han alcanzado la competencia requerida. Nuevamente, nuestra meta es que todos los estudiantes estén presentes y lleguen a tiempo mientras continuamos trabajando para aumentar el crecimiento y la competencia académica.

También tenemos varias celebraciones emocionantes próximamente:
• Ceremonia de Pre-Kínder – Viernes, 29 de mayo
• Ceremonia de Premios de Kínder a 2.º grado – Lunes, 1 de junio a las 12:30 PM
• Ceremonia de Premios de 3.º a 4.º grado – Lunes, 1 de junio a las 1:45 PM
• Ceremonia de Premios de 5.º grado – Martes, 2 de junio a la 1:00 PM

Por favor recuerden que el último día de clases para todos los estudiantes será el miércoles, 3 de junio. Este será un día de salida temprana y la salida comenzará a las 12:15 PM.

Hello Dolphin Families,

This is Principal Harley with your weekly updates.

We would like to give a huge shoutout to all of our parents and guardians for ensuring your scholars arrived to school every day and on time during our EOG testing window. We are proud to share that we had 100% attendance for testing, with only one excused absence. Thank you for your support and partnership—it truly takes a village!

This week, we will conclude our testing window with 3rd Grade Read to Achieve testing and retesting for scholars who have not yet met proficiency. Again, our goal is to have all scholars present and on time for testing as we continue working to increase student growth and proficiency.

We also have several exciting celebrations coming up:
• Pre-K Ceremony – Friday, May 29th
• Kindergarten–2nd Grade Awards Ceremony – Monday, June 1st at 12:30 PM
• 3rd–4th Grade Awards Ceremony – Monday, June 1st at 1:45 PM
• 5th Grade Awards Ceremony – Tuesday, June 2nd at 1:00 PM

Please remember that the last day of school for all scholars is Wednesday, June 3rd. This will be an early release day, and dismissal will begin at 12:15 PM.

Hello Dolphin Families,

This is Principal Harley with your weekly updates!

We had an amazing pep rally this week as we prepared and encouraged our 3rd–5th grade Dolphin Scholars for End-of-Grade testing. Our scholars are ready to shine, and we are excited for a strong testing season!

A special shout-out to our incredible Dolphin staff and PTO for their continued help and support.

Testing officially begins tomorrow, May 18th. Some scholars will participate in early scheduled testing on Monday, May 18th, and Tuesday, May 19th, to ensure they have the time and environment needed to do their very best. Those scholars and families have already been notified.

EOG testing for all other scholars will take place as follows:
• Reading EOGs for Grades 3–5: May 20th
• Math EOGs for Grades 3–5: May 21st
• 5th Grade Science EOG: May 22nd

Retesting and make-up testing will continue through June 3rd.

Families, please help set your child up for success by ensuring they get a good night’s rest, eat a healthy breakfast, arrive at school on time, and attend school each day during testing. Most importantly, encourage them to stay confident and do their very best!
