🚓 Future recruits in training?? 🚓

​Deputy Jordan had a blast showing some of our favorite little neighbors around the patrol unit today. From the very front to the very back and all of the lights, no question was left unanswered. It’s always a privilege to share what we do with the next generation. Thanks for stopping her to say hi!

It’s been a long Wednesday, Bauxite. 😴

​Usually, this is the time we post our Wanted Wednesday list of the 20 individuals with active warrants we’re looking for. But at this point in the day, the only thing we’re truly "hunting" for is a pillow and sleep.

​Don't get us wrong, the night shift is logged in and rolling, and we’re still very much looking for those Wanted Wednesday people. But if you’re one of them, do us a favor and turn yourself in tonight? It'd make everyone's life just a little bit easier.

We’ve heard it all: "The wind was pushing me," "I’m late for a wedding I don't want to go to," and the classic "I thought the speed limit sign was the highway number."

​But we know we haven’t heard the best ones.

​What is the most creative, ridiculous, or "almost worked" excuse you (or a 'friend') have ever given to get out of a ticket? We LOVE when they're true!

Thank you Pine Haven Elementary for allowing Deputy Cupps and our Fire Department to participate in this excellent training opportunity!

PHE is now a Heart Safe School- Project ADAM- through AR Children’s Hospital. Thank you to our nurses- Nurse Penny and Nurse Brooke- for training our cardiac response team and keeping our students safe.

After 13 years with the Bauxite Post Office, our Post Master, Stacey, is retiring. Today will be her last day. If you're out and about today, please go wish her well! If not, you're welcome to share your well-wishes here, and we will make sure she sees them before she exits the building for the last time.
