Friendly reminder to all Appling County Citizens! The deadline to pay your 2025 property taxes is coming up on February 27, 2026. Avoid those late fees and interest by getting your payment in on time!
You can pay:
✅ Online: Appling County Payment Portal
✅ In-Person: 69 Tippins Street, Suite 102, Baxley, GA
✅ By Mail: Check your bill for the correct mailing address!
💡 Pro-Tip: If your taxes are in escrow, your mortgage company usually handles this, but it’s always smart to double-check that it has been paid.

‼️DEADLINE FOR HOMESTEAD EXEMPTIONS & AGRICULTURAL COVENANTS‼️

The deadline for Appling County taxpayers to file for Agricultural Covenants and 2026 Homestead Exemptions, including the Total School Tax Exemption and 100% Disabled Veteran Homestead Exemption is April 1, 2026. Citizens may apply in person at the Tax Assessors’ Office. Any citizen already receiving a homestead exemption remains in place however, to receive any additional exemption, must be filed by the deadline.
