🚗🚴 What an incredible day in Baxter Springs! Route 66 was alive with energy as an estimated 4,000–5,000 hot rods cruised through town with the Hot Rods Tour, while approximately 400 cyclists rolled down Military Avenue during Bike Across Kansas.

Adding to the excitement, Breaking the Chains hosted a successful fundraiser serving hamburgers and hot dogs to visitors and participants throughout the day.

Our streets were full, our businesses were busy, and our community shined! Thank you to everyone who helped make this amazing day possible and showcase the best of Baxter Springs.

The Baxter Springs Chamber & Visitor Center is excited to welcome the Hot Rod Tour as an estimated 4,000–5,000 classic hot rods cruise historic Route 66 through our community. From vintage classics to custom builds, it's an incredible sight to see and a celebration of America's love for the open road.
