As you probably already know, Baxter is currently working on a Comprehensive Plan that will help guide future investments and enhance the quality of life in Baxter for the next 10–20 years.
If you have ever had an opinion about anything in Baxter—housing, utilities, streets, sidewalks, parks, recreation, businesses, growth, or the overall direction of our community—now is the time to make your voice heard.
🏡 Baxter Comprehensive Plan Open House
📅 June 23, 2026
🕓 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM
📍 Baxter School
And yes—even if you have already completed the survey, stopped by a previous engagement event, or attended another planning activity, we still encourage you to attend.
Each survey, engagement event, and open house has focused on different topics and gathered different types of feedback. This will be the final opportunity to provide input before the planning process moves forward.
New topics, including housing, land use, utilities, and future growth, will be discussed, and we want to hear from you.
This is a drop-in event, so there is no formal presentation and no need to stay the entire time. Whether you can stop by for 10 minutes or an hour, your input matters.
While June 23 will be the final open house, residents will also have opportunities to provide input at upcoming engagement events:
🚗 June 7 – Baxter Hog Roast
Transportation & Mobility
⚾ June 8 – Chad Flora Fields during youth baseball and softball games
Parks, Recreation & Community Amenities
Each event covers different topics, so residents are encouraged to participate in as many opportunities as they can.
The more community participation we receive, the stronger the final plan will be and the better it will reflect the priorities and vision of the people who call Baxter home.
We hope to see you there!
