What an amazing evening at Baxter's National Night Out!

A huge thank you to Josh Britton, the Jasper County Sheriff's Office, and all of the law enforcement officers and first responders who helped make this event possible. We are also so grateful to the Baxter Chamber of Commerce for all of their hard work organizing such a wonderful community event.

Thank you to all of our local businesses, organizations, and volunteers who donated food, prizes, activities, and their time. It was so much fun seeing everyone come together and enjoy the evening.

Even though we had a little rain, it certainly didn't dampen the spirit of our community! From the activities and demonstrations to the food, prizes, and smiling faces, it was wonderful to see so many people out enjoying time with family, friends, and neighbors.

Thank you to everyone who came out and helped make National Night Out such a success. We can't wait to do it again next year!

A healthy habit that helps save lives!

The Baxter Community Blood Drive is coming up on Monday, August 10th from 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM at Baxter City Hall – Community Room.

Every blood donation makes a difference and helps ensure lifesaving blood is available for patients in our communities. Whether you are a regular donor or have never donated before, we would love to see you there!

Baxter City Hall will be closed on Friday, July 3, in observance of Independence Day.

We hope everyone has a wonderful Fourth of July filled with family, friends, good food, and great memories. Please celebrate safely, and enjoy the holiday weekend!

We've had several residents sign up already—thank you!

However, the online system does not notify City Hall when someone enrolls. That means we won't know you've signed up unless you tell us.

A tech will be at City Hall tomorrow (6/19/26) morning as this is an issue with the lines themselves.
We will give an update as soon as lines are back up and working. thank you for your patience.

We are currently experiencing issues with our City Hall phone line. We have confirmed calls are not coming through and have contacted our provider to resolve the issue.
