🚁🌅
We spend our days in the fast lane, racing against time when every second matters. But every now and then, we're reminded to look up and take in the view.
Tonight's sunset was one of those moments.
From 1500 of feet above, the world seemed to slow down for a minute. A reminder that while we're dedicated to helping others through their toughest days, it's just as important to pause, breathe, and appreciate the small moments that make life beautiful.
Sometimes the best medicine is a little perspective. ❤️

🚁 HOW TO HELP AN EMS HELICOPTER LAND SAFELY🚁

When a medical helicopter is called to an emergency, they need a safe place to land. If you are nearby, here is how you can help first responders clear the way and save a life!

🛑 1. Keep Your DistanceStay back: Move at least 200 feet away from the landing area. Never approach: Do not walk up to the helicopter unless a crew member explicitly tells you to. Watch the tail: Always stay away from the back of the aircraft where the tail rotor spins.

🗑️ 2. Clear the GroundPick up debris: Secure loose items like trash cans, lawn chairs, or loose plastic bags.Downwash hazard: The wind from the rotors can turn everyday objects into dangerous projectiles.

🚫 3. No drones: NEVER fly a drone anywhere near an emergency scene. It forces the helicopter to ground or divert. No flash photography: Bright flashes or lasers can temporarily blind the pilots.
