📸 District Photography Procedures📸

As we begin a new school year, we want to notify our community of our updated photography procedures for external photographers covering district games, practices and events.

External photographers who wish to photograph from designated media areas - such as sidelines, courtside or stage areas - must complete the District Photography Approval Form and receive a district media pass. The pass must be worn at all times while photographing. Approved photographers can show their approval confirmation email and pick up their media pass at the ticket booth/check-in area.

As a reminder, this does not apply to families taking photos from bleachers, chairs or audience areas.

This process helps us prioritize student safety, privacy and a positive experience for everyone at our events. We thank you in advance for helping share this information with community partners!

John Glenn Boys soccer started the 2026 season with a win over Bad Axe 6-4 on Thursday August 20 at Hatchett Stadium in Bad Axe, ushering in a new Era of Glenn Soccer. The team needed a game to gel with new leaders on and off the field. The first half proved a bit rocky as players adjusted to a new tactics plan and the physical demands of an 80 minute physical contest.

Trailing 3-1 at half time, the Bobcats took the half to focus on what went right and where they were one touch or one cycle away from finding success. The boys also discussed non verbal messages being sent and confronted the need to focus on their new team identity. The result was a powerful and abrupt shift for the team and an explosion of 4 goals over the first 20 minutes of the second half with controlled passing setting up run after run for a speedy up top trio. The Bobcats added another goal with about 6 minutes remaining to double up the opposition 6-3. Bad Axe would get a a goal in the final minute during some reserves time for both teams.

The Bobcats got contributions on the scoreboard from several players, which has been a focus in early season practice. The Bobcats got two goals each from Dylan Wood and Paul Nori and goals from Damien Albrecht and Justin Wingeier. The Bobcats had assists from multiple places as well. Barrett Yaklin, Wyatt Jeske and Aethon Wallaker each had two assists while Brayden Lang and Albrecht also had a helper each as part of some very strong passing cycles leading to goals.

The Bobcats will next put on the cleats on for the Bay County Tournament on Saturday at Bay Area Soccer Complex.
