Today is the day! Sage's Dino-Mite 🦖 Summer Reading Program (SRP) Kick Off Party 🎉The weather is looking good and a fun time for the family is ready to begin!

Enjoy crafts, popcorn, inflatable obstacle course, cotton candy, and more out on the lawn. As you go inside visit all the floors and pull from the sucker tree, spin the wheel, and put a token into the prize dispenser. Don't forget to get your SRP log and bag! 📕

There's so many wonderful activities, community partners, and Kona Ice, free ice cream, balloon twisting and more! 🦕 Dino-mite news, Auburn! 🦖

Get ready to go on a ROAR-some adventure this summer! In celebration of our Summer Reading Program, the Auburn Branch Library has teamed up with 33 local businesses for a city-wide Dinosaur Scavenger Hunt! No fossil-hunting experience required—just curiosity, adventure, and maybe a little dino-determination!

Hidden inside each participating business is a sneaky stuffed dinosaur just waiting to be discovered. Your mission? Track down the dinos, learn their names, and record them on your scavenger hunt sheet.

Here are the rules:
🌟Pick up a sheet at the Auburn Branch Library or at select participating businesses
🌟 Open to all ages
🌟 To complete the hunt, you'll need to find at least 20 of the 33 dinosaurs
🌟Once you've finished, turn in your completed form at the Auburn Branch Library for a chance to win some special themed prizes!

Today is the big day! Stop in to our Auburn and Pinconning Branches to sign up for our Summer Reading Program and unearth a summer of stories and fun!

Don't miss out on our first kick off party of the year tonight from 4-6pm at Auburn City Park by US-10 in Auburn! We'll be there rain or shine, but don't worry, we'll be under the large farmer's market pavilion, so we'll keep dry from whatever weather mother nature throws our way! Sign up for the reading program, enjoy our photo booth, crafts, a scavenger hunt, and meet our wonderful community partners! Don't be dino-saur you missed it!

Ms. Dani had a fun time at Kolb Elementary for Family Engagement Night. She met Peter H. Reynolds and Paul Reynolds, children's book authors and illustrators of book you know and love like Judy Moody, The Dot, Ish, and many more! Thank you, Kolb Elementary School for gifting the Bay County Library System with a giant pile of autographed books. We will be raffling them off to community children who attend our Dot Celebration Parties in September.

Calling All Young Dinosaur Artists! 🎨🦖

Join us this Saturday at Wirt Library for Unearth Dino Art and help transform the Children’s Room into a prehistoric summer adventure!

Kids ages 5–12 (with an adult) are invited to create a dino-mite masterpiece that will help decorate the library for the summer. Plus, it's a make one, take one activity, so you'll have a dinosaur creation to bring home, too!
