I haven’t made a Liam post in a while, so i just wanted to post an update. Liam is thriving in kindergarten! He’s still the sweetest boy who loves to love 🥰 we are so blessed 🥰 it’s been 2 yrs since his burn, so the last photo is what it looks like today ❤️ please continue to pray for our boy as he continues to grow in life ❤️ as always, no matter what and forever because we still believe justice deserves to be served, as the monster who did this still lives freely despite committing this heinous crime.

Loving your sons unconditionally means protecting them and believing them. If this is true, why is Liam excluded from that unconditional love!?? Stand with Liam. Tell the truth. Protect Liam.

So far this year we have watch TWO Michigan women be convicted of child abuse for burning children, “accidentally” and intentionally, neither of those women were Caitlin Walraven. We were told the case was closed bc it was investigated as an accident, even accidents cause serious mental and physical harm to children. HOLD ABUSERS ACCOUNTABLE. THIS WAS NOT AN ACCIDENT. Caitlin Walraven physically abused Liam, causing severe burns to his face. We will not stop fighting for justice.

Friends! We need to draw attention to this! This is CHARLIE CLARK’S AUNT! This has me questioning Liam’s entire case! Is she the reason there was no accountability???? I NEED ANSWERS

Commission officers wrote that Andrea Burney-Obershaw chastised city staff, a violation of the city charter.

Liam stayed the night with a family friend last night and I received this text this morning! I just wanted to share. If people (the prosecutor, judge, police, etc.) could see Liam and spend time with him, they would understand that he is not lying, CAITLIN IS. Liam is speaking his truth and his mental health speak volumes to that.
• back story to our new car, Liam gets really bad ptsd tummy aches. And the day we bought our new car, he was sick all day bc the car had the same interior layout and color as Caitlin’s.

Just an update on Liam’s life! ❤️❤️
• Liam is thriving! He is starting Kindergarten this fall and is PUMPED to be starting flag football with some of his best buddies! 💪🏼🏈 He is writing is letters like a pro and can officially pronuciate his “L.” 🥲
• While criminally things fell through, we are still working with a civil lawyer to see what we are able to do. ❤️

Now that Liam’s case has been officially closed, I can finally share what he said happened.

Liam told us that Caitlin Walraven placed a wet rag in a Ziploc bag, microwaved it, and then put it on his face—causing the burns.

We do not believe the coffee spill story. We will never believe that story.

Liam has always been consistent. He has always told the truth. And the system may have failed him, but we won’t.

I will forever share Liam’s story. I will never stop seeking justice.
And I will always believe that his abuser is CAITLIN WALRAVEN.

UPDATE ON LIAM’S CASE
Today, I received devastating news. The prosecutor has officially decided not to pursue criminal charges in Liam’s case.

Despite everything Liam told us… despite the trauma he lived through… despite the signs… the bruises… the pain… this system has chosen to protect the person who hurt him instead of protecting him.

They told me Liam “wouldn’t be a credible witness” because of his age and because time has passed. They said the police investigated it as an accident, just as Caitlin portrayed it—not as the crime that Liam bravely spoke up about.

Let me be clear: This is a failure of justice.
It is a failure to believe a child.
It is a failure to hold an abuser accountable.
And it is a failure that no mother or child should ever have to endure.

Liam deserved better. He still does.

I may be heartbroken, but I am not done fighting. This page will remain a place where Liam’s truth lives on. Where other children’s voices are believed. Where we keep the pressure on.

To those who have stood by us—please don’t stop now. Share Liam’s story. Keep speaking his name. Help me show the system that just because they won’t fight for him doesn’t mean we won’t.

This isn’t over. Not by a long shot.
