MATAGORDA COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
PRESS RELEASE

On Wednesday 11/19/2025 around 8:45am, There was an Armed Robbery reported at the Blessing Country Store in Blessing, Texas. As units were enroute to Blessing, another Armed Robbery was called in to Dispatch that occurred at the Tiger Stop Store in Blessing, Texas and another that occurred at the Citgo Gas Station in Blessing, Texas. There were multiple Law Enforcement Agencies involved and an investigation was underway. A possible suspect vehicle was developed after interviewing witnesses. The suspect wore clothing that concealed his head, face, arms, hands and legs. Law Enforcement was searching the area of Blessing when around 3:00pm, a call was dispatched as an Armed Robbery at the TC County Store in Sugar Valley, Texas. Law Enforcement converged to that area and it was determined that the TC Country Store Robbery appeared to have the same suspect and same suspect vehicle as in the Blessing Robberies. Brazoria County Sheriff’s Office was notified of the suspect vehicle to be on the look out. The suspect vehicle was stopped on traffic in Brazoria County near Bar X Ranch. The driver of the vehicle was transported to Brazoria County Sheriff’s Office and is in custody. At the time of this release, charges are pending from Matagorda County Sheriff’s Office.
