This is your chance to hear directly from 5 local physicians who will be speaking on lung health, answering your questions, and explaining how a low-dose CT scan could benefit you or a loved one. 🩺

The Salvation Army of Bay City is helping families stay warm this winter! ❤️

📅 Saturday, October 24, 2026
⏰ 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM
👧🧒 Children ages 0–17

📋 REQUIRED DOCUMENTATION:

To receive coats, families must bring:

✅ Photo ID for each adult in the household.

✅ Proof of Bay County residency, such as a current utility bill.

✅ For EACH child, ONE of the following:
• Birth certificate
• Insurance card
• DHHS award letter

🧥 CAN'T MAKE IT SATURDAY?

No problem! Children's coats will also be available:

📅 Monday – Friday
⏰ 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Breast cancer screening recommendations can vary based on your age, health history, and personal risk factors. For women at average risk, screening recommendations change as you get older, and those at higher risk may need to begin screening earlier or have additional testing.

There are a lot of myths about breast cancer screening, but knowing the facts is important!

Breast cancer can develop even if you feel healthy or don’t have a family history. Mammograms can help detect breast cancer early, before symptoms appear.
If you’re unsure when to start screening, talk with your health care provider about what’s recommended for you.

Some people have a higher risk of developing breast cancer due to factors such as family history, inherited genetic changes, previous chest radiation, or certain health conditions.

If you have any of these risk factors, talk with your health care provider about when you should begin screening and whether additional screening may be needed.
