Each Monday and Tuesday night starting at 5:30 we give out around 250 meals each night. These meals cost about 300.00 for each night thats about $1.20 in cost. So for a year the expense is around $31,200.00. Can you maybe talk to your church, an organization or friends that may want to support our meal program? You can donate online at www.safeharborkitchen.com, drop it off or mail it to Safe Harbor 706 Joseph Bay City Mi 48706. Help us continue to feed those in need a warm homecooked meal.
Thank you!

We at Safe Harbor continue to explore some additional needs of our community. I had asked a questions a few weeks ago other than food, cleaning supplies and hygiene - what are some areas of needs. In trying to develop a plan I'd like a little more feedback.

We heard maybe work clothing- scrubs, work boots, childrens winter clothing, coats, gloves hats and boots. OTHER THOUGHT?

What about laundry service of some sort?

Furiture ?

Bedding, blankets, sheets, comforters and sleeping bags?

Please share your thoughts- Thank you

This past Monday during our Safe Harbor Food and Hygeine Pantry for Bay County residents we broke our record. In a 120 minute (2hours) we served over 93 "tickets" that equal nearly 325 people got fresh produce, breads, pantry box of dry goods, meat, hygiene, cleaning supplies and much more. What and amazing TEAM of faithful Volunteers. This mean every 1.30 minutes someone came in and went out loaded up and blessed. Over 5000 pounds of food went out in just one day (that would equal around $17,000). We need your support. If you can share our post would be one way, donate online at www.safeharborkitchen.com, Drop off donations of products or money and lifting us in prayer. We love helping our community. Each week with tears many times in they're eyes, someone will ask to give me a huge and say "Thank YOU" for all the help you give us>>>> Its the most humbling expereince in my life. Help us as we continue to help our community!😇
