PUBLIC NOTICE: Beach Improvement Project
Residents and visitors are advised that Burke Construction will be conducting a beach improvement project on Bay Head Beach. For your safety, please do not enter any closed beach access points or active work zones.
During this project, temporary road closures may occur on East Avenue between North Street and Karge Street while materials are transported onto the beach. These closures are necessary to allow dump trucks to safely access the North Street crossover without utilizing RT.35.
Due to tidal conditions and project timelines, work may take place during nighttime hours and on weekends to ensure completion prior to the summer season.
Motorists and pedestrians should anticipate increased truck traffic and heavy equipment in the area.
When “Road Closed” signs are in place, only residents requiring access to properties on East Avenue between North Street and Karge Street will be permitted entry.
Traffic flaggers and safety personnel will be on site to assist with traffic flow and public safety.
We appreciate your cooperation and patience as this project is completed safely and efficiently.
