⚠️ SCAM ALERT: Fraudulent Emails Targeting Planning & Zoning Applicants

Baldwin County has received reports of fraudulent emails impersonating local government officials and requesting payment related to Planning & Zoning applications.

These emails may include real case numbers and property information to appear legitimate and may request payment of fraudulent fees.

IMPORTANT: The Baldwin County Commission only accepts payment for permits through the official CitizenServe Portal or in person at Baldwin County office locations. The County will not ask for wire transfers or direct you by email to send permit payments through another payment method.

The FBI has issued a nationwide warning about this scam earlier this year. If you receive a suspicious payment request, do not send payment or financial information. Contact Baldwin County directly to verify the request and report suspected fraud to the FBI at IC3.gov.

Please remain vigilant and share this warning with property owners, developers, surveyors, engineers, and others who conduct business with Planning & Zoning.

🚧 Baldwin County Roadway Upgrades Underway! 🚧

Several local roads are being resurfaced in Baldwin County, including:
• Brady Road
• Durbin Fork Road
• Three Rivers Road
• Brown’s Landing Road
• Waterworld Road

These improvements mean smoother drives, clearer markings, and more reliable travel for the residents who use these routes every day.

Before paving, crews evaluated each roadway and completed needed repairs, including drainage work in select areas to help protect the new pavement long term. Fresh asphalt was applied, followed by new striping to improve visibility for motorists.

This work being completed is part of the Baldwin County Commission’s annual resurfacing program and was partially funded through the Alabama state gas tax, which supports transportation upgrades countywide.

Baldwin County Building Official Eddie Harper participated in a panel discussion today at the Baldwin REALTORS® Coastal Real Estate Resources Forum.

The panel, “Before I Build: How Do I Know What I Can Do To My Property?”, provided valuable information on what property owners, realtors and industry professionals should know before beginning a building project.

We appreciate opportunities like this to connect with our community, share helpful information and provide a better understanding of the building process in Baldwin County.
