On July 23, 2026, at about 1201 hours, the men and women of the Bay Minette Police Department responded to a call of, “Shots Fired” near the intersection of South Street and Bay Street. Upon arrival, units discovered a group of young adults in the front yard of 201 Bay Street. There was a very strong and recognizable odor of ma*****na in the air. There were also several empty shell casings visible in the grass. The shell casings appeared to match those that would be fired from a weapon described by independent witnesses.
