🔎📚 **Uncovering History Through Critical Thinking!** 🚢

Ms. McLain’s 6th Grade ELA students are diving into the fascinating story of the **sinking of the Titanic** while strengthening their critical-thinking and reading skills!

Students are analyzing **textual evidence** to explore how authors introduce, develop, and illustrate key facts through meaningful anecdotes and detailed examples. They’re going beyond simply learning what happened—they’re examining **how authors tell the story and use evidence to deepen our understanding.**

We love seeing our Tigers so thoughtfully engaged with nonfiction texts and making connections between **history, evidence, and critical thinking!** 💙💛

🎹 **A New Sound at BWMS!** 🎶

Today was an exciting day in our **Piano Keyboarding Elective**! Our students practiced on their **new piano keyboards** for the very first time. 🎹✨

We love giving our Tigers opportunities to explore new talents, learn new skills, and discover a love for music. Watching our students learn, create, and make music is what it’s all about! 💙💛
