🎓 Exploring Opportunities for Their Next Step!

December graduates from Bay Springs High School recently visited our campus with Career Coach Jeannie Agee! They had the opportunity to explore our programs, learn more about their options, and discover which career paths may be a good fit for them.

They even had a chance to run into former Bay Springs High School graduates who are now students on our campus! 💙

Students left with programs they’re interested in pursuing and options to enroll in January and begin working toward their future careers. We’re excited to see where their next steps take them! 🎓✨

Manufacturing Day at Hol-Mac was a great success! Jones College Jasper County Center students had the opportunity to see welding operations up close and learn more about careers in manufacturing.

Former Jones College students helped show students around and shared their experiences, while current dual welding students gained valuable insight into the industry and future career opportunities.

We appreciate Hol-Mac for providing this opportunity and for supporting our students as they develop the skills needed to build successful careers right here at home!

Our LPN students are getting hands-on experience in the lab, practicing important patient-care skills with their instructor, Andrea Rodriguez.

Today’s lesson: making a bed with a patient in the bed. An essential skill that requires proper technique, communication, and patient comfort. 🛏️

We love seeing our students put their skills into practice and gain confidence through hands-on learning!

Presenters included:

🔹 Chris Hennis, District Attorney
🔹 Stephanie Wood, Assistant District Attorney
🔹 Chris Purdum, Assistant District Attorney
🔹 Reggie Blackledge, Assistant District Attorney

Representatives from Smith County Sheriff’s Department, Bay Springs PD, Heidelberg PD, MBI, MS Department of Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks, Jasper County Sheriff’s Department, and the Attorney General’s Theft Bureau were also in attendance.

We appreciate the opportunity to make our facility available for training and professional development in our community!
