Just a heads: The Erie County Water and Sewer Division will be doing some investigation work on the sewer lines on East Bayview Drive at E Oneida and E Mohegan Trails. They will be using smoke bombs as part of the process this afternoon.

We couldn't have said it better ourselves. We would like to add that Miss Betty also dispatched for the Fire Department during her years of service.

The Bay View Police Department would like to extend it's condolences to the family of Betty Lou Cherry, age 88, of Bay View, as she passed on October 10th, 2024 at her residence.

We would like to acknowledge Betty for all her hard work. She gave to this community as a Dispatcher for Bay View Police from 1973 to 1988. During that time she kept our Officers and community safe. She volunteered her time and worked very hard for the village in many aspects after that time as well. Betty Lou we want to thank you for everything you have done for us and the village.
