Congratulations to the Class of 2026! Mrs. McNeal and Mrs. Lopez joined our Cobre Seniors on the field - both for special reasons. For Mrs. Mc.Neal, she worked at the high school when the graduates were freshmen. For Mrs. Lopez, she is a Cobre graduate herself. Furthermore, she taught several of today’s graduates when they were in elementary. Tonight, Mrs. Lopez walked into retirement alongside her former students, as they walked into their futures. Truly symbolic!

Yesterday was B is for BLUE… 💙🎉
Our kindergarteners had so much fun celebrating all things blue during our ABC Countdown! 😊✨

And today was A is for AMBULANCE 🚑❤️
Our students had an exciting opportunity to learn all about ambulances, emergency equipment, and how paramedics help our community! We were even lucky enough to have our first grade friends join kindergarten for this special experience. ✨

A huge thank you to Gila Regional Medical Center and Paramedic Ryan Griffiths for bringing the ambulance out and taking the time to teach our students. We are so grateful for our local healthcare heroes! 🚑💛

What a fun and memorable way to finish our ABC Countdown! From A to Z, we’ve made so many amazing memories together this school year. 🎓📚💛

✨🍎The End of an Era: Happy Retirement to Three Elementary Legends! 🍎✨

Today marks the emotional last day of school, and we are saying a bittersweet goodbye to three incredible educators who are retiring today. Together, Margaret Lopez, Amber Shay, and Kimberly Springler have dedicated a combined 75 years to shaping young minds, wiping away tears, and inspiring a love of learning in our community.

To our retiring heroes:

We want to give a huge thank you to our amazing high school interns for all of their hard work in the elementary this year.

From answering phones and helping students, to keeping things organized during the daily chaos that comes with a busy school, they stepped in with positive attitudes and willingness to help wherever needed. Their kindness, professionalism, and dedication did not go unnoticed.

We are so grateful for the time and effort they gave to our school community, and it has been a pleasure watching them grow. We know they have bright futures ahead of them, and we are so proud to have been a small part of their journey.

Thank you both for everything you did for our staff, students, and families this year. We will miss you and wish you nothing but success in whatever comes next! ❤️🖤🤍
