In this fun, interactive program, readers will discover the fascinating story behind America’s most legendary dinosaur. Young explorers will learn what makes a dinosaur a dinosaur, how paleontologists uncover fossils, and what may have led to the K-Pg extinction!!

We got our groove on with Mr. Kneel at last week’s summer reading activity! 88 people attended and got to enjoy “beatboxes and rhymes!”

This Thursday is our next Summer Reading activity! ☀️⛱️📚Join us at 10am.

Mr. Kneel is Neil McIntyre, an award winning Hip Hop musician and educator, with over twenty years experience on stage and in the classroom.

Neil works effectively with a wide age range of kids, from toddlers to college students!

He is a former inner-city teacher who went on to perform for a much larger audience in 43 of the United States and 6 provinces abroad! Mr. Kneel has inspired thousands of kids with his uplifting message of character and self-respect.

With beatbox and vocal percussion, Mr. Kneel can make magic and emotion. With words he can create and improvise well enough to be invited to perform at the American Jazz Museum!

Mr. Kneel has been fortunate enough to perform at over 600 schools and colleges and 100 public library branches!

Thank you to everyone who joined us to kickoff Summer Reading with children’s author and national teaching artist Aaron Fowler and his classroom therapy dog, Kuumba! We look forward to a summer of learning, reading, and fun!
