Recently, our members trained on the ventilation prop. This is a prop that simulates cutting a vent hole in a roof, which allows smoke and super heated gasses to escape the house.

This week we lost one of our own, a devoted firefighter in Triangle for many years. Mr Danny, thank you for the years of faithful service to our department and to our community.

ATTENTION! Regretfully, we have had to cancel the remaining 2 nights of our Trail of Terror. The rain and wind received in this storm has damaged more of the Trail, and has made the fields too soft to walk through. This was a tough decision for us, but our top priority is the safety of our guests, and our firefighters.

Thank you for your support this year, and we are planning to return next year‐ bigger and better than ever.

ATTENTION! THE TRAIL OF TERROR WILL NOT OPEN FOR THE FIRST NIGHT!

Due to the damage that the Trail of Terror sustained during the tropical conditions this weekend, we have canceled the Trail of Terror for the night of October 18th. As inclement weather is in the upcoming forecast, we will continue to update you as we go. We are hopeful to be able to open for the remaining 4 nights, starting October 24th.

We've received word that the corn maze has been affected by the weather. They will not be able to open on the 18th unfortunately.

This week our training consisted of relay pumping, tanker nursing operations, and hydrant operations. At the end, we went over ladder operations with some of our newer firefighters. Thank you Grantsboro/Silverhill Station 11 Volunteer Fire Department and Reelsboro Fire-Rescue - Station No. 9 for training with us!

Thank you everyone, for your support this weekend! We sold a total of 418 plates, and 14 quarts of BBQ!

Before our plate sale, Triangle FD hosted our 2025 Fire & Smoke whole hog BBQ competition. Thank you to all of the 10 cook teams, and a huge Congratulations to our winners!

We look forward to seeing everyone again next year!
