Pamlico Rescue responded to a total of 216 calls for service during July 2026, a slight increase from the 204 calls handled in July 2025.

That’s 12 additional calls compared to the same month last year.

As call volumes continue to grow, our dedicated EMS professionals remain committed to being there when our community needs us most — 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

We are proud to serve the citizens and visitors of Pamlico County and appreciate the continued support of our community.

GIVE BLOOD. HONOR A LIFE. MAKE A DIFFERENCE. 🩸🚑

On September 11, 2026, Pamlico County Rescue Squad, Inc. is proud to team up with the American Red Cross to host a community blood drive from 9:00 AM–2:00 PM at Pamlico Rescue 911 Grace Daniels Rd. in Bayboro.

September 11 is a day that reminds us of tremendous loss, extraordinary courage, and the incredible willingness of people to help complete strangers in their time of greatest need.

This year, we invite our community to honor that spirit of service in a very special way — by giving blood.

For those of us in EMS, fire, law enforcement, healthcare, and public safety, we see firsthand how important donated blood can be. A serious accident, major surgery, medical emergency, or unexpected tragedy can change someone's life in a matter of seconds. When that moment comes, having blood available can make all the difference.

🩸 You don't have to wear a uniform to save a life.

Sometimes being a hero simply means rolling up your sleeve and giving a little of yourself so that someone else has a chance to go home to their family.

We encourage our first responders, healthcare workers, community organizations, local businesses, churches, families, friends, and neighbors to join us.

Come donate in memory of someone.

Come donate in honor of a first responder, service member, friend, or loved one.

Or simply come donate because someone you may never meet could desperately need what you are willing to give.

Thank you to everyone who came out today celebrating our 60yrs of service to Pamlico County. It is truly an honor. Many things have changed over the years in healthcare. But the one thing that remains the same is our commitment to the citizens of Pamlico County.
