What's Happening Vallecito!
Weather - Fire Restrictions - Live Music - Food Specials - Boat Parade - Worship - Art Show - Food Truck - Bingo!
We will have absolutely beautiful weather up here through the holiday weekend. Forest Service is now at Stage 2 Fire Restrictions. If you are planning to come up here and camp in the forest and if you are cooking over a fire, it will need to be bottled liquid gas, no wood fires in the National Forest campgrounds at Vallecito Creek, Pine River Trail campground and all the campgrounds around the lake, so plan on that before you arrive. Additionally, there is absolutely NO FIRES AT ALL ALLOWED ON MIDDLE MOUNTAIN DISPERSED CAMPGROUNDS {Bottled liquid gas or wood}. The area is being heavily patrolled day and night by forest service, fines are = $$$$$$$$.

Thursday - Johnnie’s Mobile Kitchen at 5 Branches Camper Park is open as is the Ice House at Elk Point Lodge, Vallecito Lake Country Market has breakfast and lunch. The Weminuche Woodfire Grill is open for lunch daily at 11am. Bingo at 6:30pm at Blue Spruce RV Park and Blue Spruce RV Park & Cabins.
Friday - Johnnie’s Mobile Kitchen at 5 Branches Camper Park is open as is the Ice House at Elk Point Lodge, Vallecito Lake Country Market has breakfast and lunch. The Weminuche Woodfire Grill is open for lunch daily at 11am. Live Music with Mean Irene at The Weminuche Woodfire Grill 6pm - 9pm, and Friday Night Fish Fry.
Saturday 4th of July - Johnnie’s Mobile Kitchen at 5 Branches Camper Park at 5 Branches Camper Park is open extended hours and Live Music and Food Truck from 6-8pm, as is the Ice House at Elk Point Lodge, Vallecito Lake Country Market has breakfast and lunch. The Weminuche Woodfire Grill is open for lunch daily at 11am and has Prime Rib as a special for the evening. There are TWO Vallecito Summer Art Shows at 2034 and 2203 CR 500 from 11am til 4pm. The fireworks start at dusk in Bayfield at the park.
Sunday- Vallecito Lake 2nd Annual Boat Parade starts at marina and passes the campgrounds on the east side of the lake and the dam where the judges are, comes back on the west side of the lake heading north and terminates at Vallecito Marina and Yacht Club. 3pm party on front deck of the Nuche to announce the winner. Vallecito Church 9:00am Adult Bible Study and Worship at 10:30am. Johnnie’s Mobile Kitchen at 5 Branches Camper Park is open and will have the food truck as well as Live Music with Terry Rickard from 6pm til 8pm, The Ice House at Elk Point Lodge will be open for cold drinks and ice cream/snacks, Vallecito Lake Country Market has breakfast and lunch. The Weminuche Woodfire Grill is open for lunch daily at 11am and has Live Music from 5pm til 8pm with The San Juanderer - Andrew Schuhmann. There are TWO Vallecito Summer Art Shows at 2034 and 2203 CR 500 from 11am til 4pm.
