Friends of the Pine River Library The Friends of the Pine River Library supports the Library's activities and community endeavors. Our meetings are both fun and productive.

The Friends of the Pine River Library is a non-profit organization made up of individuals who appreciate libraries in general and who have a special fondness for our very own award-winning Pine River Library in Bayfield, Colorado. We meet on a monthly basis to receive updates from our wonderful library director (Shelley) about current and future programs offered at the library and to determine how

we can be involved to support these programs. We enjoy the company of fellow library lovers, enjoy terrific refreshments, and come up with creative ways to support both the library and the community of Bayfield. We currently manage the community bookshelf program, participate in library events, sponsor book sales (on-line and face-to-face), represent Friends at a variety of community events, and raise money to enhance the library and its many programs. There is something of interest to everyone who joins our group.
