Houston has a new trailer hooked on his butt, 10 foot overall shorter, and with the 3 axles under Drax (the dozer) gives almost 10 foot shorter wheel base. Faster to unload and load, and the new Kaufman trailer will move around the mountain roads SO MUCH EASIER 🥰

Just rolled back at the house from a short roll operating Drax on the Monroe Canyon Fire. Very dry hot fire that each day somewhere on its 170 miles of edge, would run and nuke off a few thousand acres. Starting to get some black around it. Chuck sent this picture of his office window view. STAY SAFE it’s still early in the season.

Getting out the door, BK tender is on her 2nd, Bender the Softtrack has been on support and a 1st fire, and Drax the dozer is now on his #2 the Monroe Fire. Our FF’s are killing it, very proud.

Benlin has added a Type 2 Dozer, dispatched out of Region 4. Dozer’s come in Type 1to4, with 1 being the biggest, and Type 2 being the most popular overall.
