I’m incredibly proud to have signed O-26-76 into law today, establishing the Division of Code Enforcement. Thank you to the City Council for taking swift action, and for holding a special meeting to expedite consideration of this important measure. Once up and running, this new Division of City government will conduct both reactive and proactive enforcement and will, finally, restore a sense of accountability around property maintenance issues that have plagued our neighborhoods for far too long.

Bus Route Update: The Bayonne Police Department will be escorting our champions back into Bayonne! They will travel off the turnpike directly to Broadway, down to 5th Street, then to Kennedy Blvd & 5th and conclude at the Parking Lot at Bayonne Little League. We hope to see you there!

Good morning Bayonne!
Our boys are coming home today after over 3 weeks away. These players and coaches have not been home since they left for Bristol Ct for regionals on 8/7. This has been an amazing experience for all of us so lets welcome them home in style. Their bus is leaving Williamsport at 10am and should arrive in Bayonne around 130pm. Bayonne PD will be meeting the bus out on the Turnpike and escorting it through Bayonne to our complex at 1st St. We ask that when you hear the sirens approaching you line the streets and cheer for our returning winners. You are also welcome to fill the lot down 1st St and cheer them as they depart the bus!!
We are working with the Mayor's office and City officials on a parade to honor the team for this once in a lifetime accomplishment. A date will be announced over the next few days so please keep checking our socials for the information!

Temporary Court Closure – 16th Street Park 🏐🎾

Please be advised that, beginning Monday, August 24, 2026, the volleyball and existing pickleball courts at 16th Street Park will be temporarily closed to allow for the installation of new fencing and lighting.

The new pickleball court will remain open during this work.

We anticipate that the project will take several days to complete.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your patience and understanding.

Bayonne has so many individuals whose service to our country and community deserves to be recognized. 🇺🇸

I’m sharing information about the 11th Annual Field of Heroes, taking place November 10 at 11:00 AM at Bayonne High School. It is not too early to start thinking about a deserving nominee or to sponsor a flag for someone special.

Here’s how you can participate:
⭐ Submit a hero nomination by August 14.
🇺🇸 Sponsor a $5 flag by October 15. Proceeds support the Joyce-Herbert V.F.W. Museum and flags will be displayed along Bayonne High School.
