I’m running for re-election to a three-year term on the Bayonne Board of Education.
It’s been an honor to serve the students, staff, and taxpayers of Bayonne over the past three years. I previously served as Vice President of the Board of Education and currently represent our community at the county level as a member of the Hudson County Board of Education.
Throughout my term, I’ve been proud to be part of the successful approval of both the teachers’ and paraprofessionals’ contracts, helping to strengthen district morale and ensure our staff feels valued and supported.
By day, I’m a high school teacher with the Jersey City Board of Education, serving as a Crisis Intervention Specialist, Special Education teacher for SSLD (Specific Language Learners Disabled) students, and volleyball coach. These experiences fuel my passion for education and give me the classroom perspective that helps guide my decisions on the Board.
I believe our schools must support every learner—academically, socially, and emotionally. That’s why I’m running for re-election:
• Ensure every student has a clear path to graduate and thrive beyond school.
• Strengthen resources that protect and enrich students both on and off campus.
• Maintain a strong and effective response to bullying.
• Promote smart fiscal policies that deliver value to our community.
• Continue fostering high district morale through collaboration, transparency, and respect for all staff.
As a lifelong educator and proud advocate for Bayonne’s students and families, I’m ready to continue building strong schools and a thriving future together.
