SFA was recognized at the board meeting on Monday, June 1, with the 2026 GCCISD SHAC Whole Child Wellness Award — Platinum level. This award highlights schools that excel in coordinating health and wellness efforts for students, families, and staff. Woohoo! Great job, Gators — keep up the healthy hustle!

Students who showed up every day entered to win a bicycle — and our four winners (two girls and two boys) were over the moon. They raced home, practiced dazzling slow-motion dismounts, and rode non-stop all summer. Big thanks to Texas First Bank for turning perfect attendance into perfect pedaling and making four students summer-ready.
