Rufus is an estimated 2-year-old Pit Bull mix who is ready to find a foster or forever home!

This sweet boy does well with other dogs and can be either submissive or playful depending on his canine friend. He’s great at matching the other dog’s energy and adjusting to their play style!

🐾 MEET ARIES! 🐾

Aries is an estimated 2-year-old Pit Bull Terrier mix who is a new arrival to the shelter as an owner surrender.

This sweet girl is already showing us what a sweetheart she is! She walks well on leash, knows “sit,” and is a lower-energy girl who would love a calm, comfortable place to call home.

Aries can coexist well with other dogs that match her energy level and would make a wonderful companion for someone looking for a laid-back pup.

Aries is looking for a foster or forever home!

🐾 MEET MADAM MIM! 🐾

Madam Mim is an estimated 8-year-old Black Mouth Cur mix who has had a rough start to shelter life.

When she first arrived, she was extremely fearful and overwhelmed. She was difficult to leash, would bark and fearfully snap, and once the leash was on, she would walk well but remained anxious, panting, shaking, and completely shut down. She became so overwhelmed that she was placed on our at-risk list.

But look at her now.
A month later, Madam Mim has come out of her shell, and we were finally able to dog test her! She did wonderfully. She is gentle, friendly, and a little sassy, and she does well with other dogs.

This sweet senior girl has shown us that sometimes all they need is time, patience, and a chance to feel safe.

Madam Mim is looking for a foster or forever home!

She has already come so far in just one month. Now she just needs someone willing to give her the next chapter she deserves.
