*E52 - Third Due (House Fire)*

Early Monday morning E52 was dispatched along with other Gig Harbor units to a house fire on Fox Island. E59 arrived to find a good portion of the Alpha and Delta sides involved. E52 was directed by command to pick up Tender 53 and coordinate water supply/tender shuttle operations. With E59 and E51 combining to have 1500 gallons of water, T53 became the “nurse tender” adding an additional 3000 gallons to the fight. As other tenders from Gig Harbor, Key Peninsula, and South Kitsap arrived on scene, E52 crew continued to coordinate the ongoing tender shuttle operation. When it was all said and done, upwards of 20,000 gallons of water were used to control and extinguish the blaze. No injuries were reported.

Today we did a “ladders and tools to side bravo” drill as well as tested out a new tool modification thanks to fellow 52 member Andy Cochrane!

*E52 - FIRST DUE*

This morning E52 arrived at the intersection of 24th ST NW and 14th AV NW to find a 2 vehicle offset head-on MVA with moderate front end damage to one vehicle. (Toyota minivan vs school bus). E52 secured the scene while the arriving medic unit completed inner and outer circles. One green patient needed transport to the hospital and two others were released after evaluation.

Crews responded to a motor vehicle crash involving a special needs bus at the intersection of 24th St and 14th Ave. The driver of the car and student were evaluated and did not require transport. The school bus driver is being transported to a local hospital for treatment.

*E52 - FIRST DUE*

Upon arrival fire was making its way through light flashy fuels toward an outbuilding. E52 pulled 1 3/4 bumper line for exposure protection and extinguishment. Then transitioned to 1” forestry hose for mop up. The outbuilding was saved and there were no injuries.

This is a pic from the grassfire that occurred earlier today on Point Fosdick Dr. As you can see, things are really drying up around here. Please be so very careful with combustibles.
