Buckeye Career Center is hosting a Volunteer Firefighter 36 class at Wilmot Fire Department.

Paperwork Night: May 14
Class Dates: June 2 – June 23
Schedule: Tuesday and Thursday evenings, plus Saturdays

Today around 3:38 PM our station was dispatched to an accident with injuries on State Route 250 at the Railroad Tracks by Stark Truss. This was a very serious accident involving a small SUV and Pickup Truck. We want to thank our mutual aid agencies for providing us with assistance so quickly. Thanks to Brewster Fire, Wilmot Fire, Strasburg Fire, Beach City Police, Ohio State Highway Patrol, and the Ohio Department of Transportation. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the victims involved in this accident. All together 5 patients were transported from the scene with the help of all the fire agencies listed above. State Route 250 was closed for approximately 2-3 hours while tending to the scene.
