📣📣SHOP UPDATE📣📣
As of today the books are closed. We need to catch up on the work that’s in the shop currently while getting it out to you in a timely manner. The lead times have been extended on awoke helmets and we’re going to work on getting them out without jeopardizing quality.
WORK ORDERS;
If you have filled out a work order and received an estimate you can send your helmet in for work so it’s in the shop.
If you haven’t filled one out and are still looking to get an estimate then please fill one out and we’ll let you know when to ship or drop off your helmet.
SPECIALIZED WORK;
Once again WE ARE NOT DOING CONVERSIONS. If you want your phenix TL-2 or cairns 880 to be converted then it goes to CCI and if you want us to paint it let them know that and they’ll send it to us for paint.
LEAD TIMES;
When we give you a lead time it is an estimation of the amount of time we’ll have your helmet in the shop. When the helmet is dropped off it’s torn down (all hardware removed) boxed up and inventoried. It goes in line based on the time the helmet was dropped off. We work down the line on helmets based on paint and hardware being done. Lead times will get extended or sped up depending on the work you’re getting done. The other thing is that this shop is operated by two people for the most part and this isn’t a full-time job for the two of us but we are there, working on helmets, sanding helmets and repairing them. We’re working on your helmet. A weekly or daily message is not needed. We will typically send you an update if we’re approaching the time line of your helmet completion.
