The Beachwood Police Department congratulates the incoming kindergarten students who graduated from Safety Town!

These young graduates learned important lessons to help them stay safe at home, at school, and throughout the community. Thank you to the Beachwood Police officers, volunteers, and Beachwood Community Services Department staff who helped make this year’s program a success.

Thank you to the hundreds of families who joined the Beachwood Police Department for National Night Out earlier this week!

We enjoyed connecting with residents, introducing our K-9 officers, showcasing emergency vehicles, and sharing a fun evening with our community. We are grateful to everyone who attended and helped make this year’s event a success.

Last week, the Beachwood Police Department participated in an active-threat training exercise at Master Builders Solutions’ corporate headquarters. The exercise was conducted in collaboration with the Cuyahoga County Office of Emergency Management, Pepper Pike Police Department, and paramedics from the Beachwood and Pepper Pike fire departments.

This coordinated training provided first responders with an important opportunity to strengthen communication, response tactics and interagency coordination during a simulated emergency.

We are grateful to Master Builders Solutions for hosting the exercise and supporting this vital training. Partnerships like these help ensure our first responders are prepared for any situation that may affect Beachwood’s residents, community and more than 2,500 businesses.
