Surface Ice Training-

Tonight members of the Beachwood Fire Department took advantage of the cold weather conditions to conduct an ice rescue drill with the Pine Beach Fire Department and Beachwood EMS along our waterfront area. We thank Bob and Nicole from Safety Third Training for assisting at the drill and Mayor William Cairns who came to observe and provide his support.

Remember NO ice is 100% safe. It is impossible to judge ice conditions by appearance and thickness alone.
