Be aware of the upcoming lane changes!

🚦 Traffic Pattern Change Coming to Richmond Road & Chagrin Boulevard 🚦

Starting next week, drivers traveling southbound on Richmond Road at Chagrin Boulevard will notice a new lane configuration designed to improve safety at this busy intersection.

The lane that currently allows motorists to either turn left onto Chagrin Boulevard or continue straight on Richmond Road will become a left-turn-only lane.

Once the change is in place, each lane at the intersection will be dedicated to a single direction of travel, helping to reduce conflicts between vehicles and improve traffic flow.

Please pay close attention to new lane markings and signage as you approach the intersection.

Human Resources reached new heights yesterday! 🚒

Our HR Manager, Dana, stopped by Station 1 and took a ride in the bucket of 1021, facing her fear of heights!

We always enjoy opportunities to share what we do and showcase the equipment that helps us protect our community.

Yesterday, Captain Peterson and Firefighter Coyne had the opportunity to visit the Mandel Jewish Day School during their field day festivities. The students got an up-close look at one of our fire trucks, learned a little about the fire service, and had a chance to ask questions and explore the apparatus.

Thank you to the staff and students for having us out — we always enjoy connecting with the community and spending time with the kids!

American Heart Association Heartsaver CPR Class

Beachwood Fire Department is hosting a Heartsaver CPR class on May 4th at 08:30 am at Fire Station # 2 - 3777 Richmond Rd Beachwood, OH. We still have open spots!
