📬 2026/2027 Property Tax Bills Are on the Way! 📬

The 2026/2027 Property Tax Bills are being mailed today.

Although the statutory due date remains August 1, 2026, the grace period has been extended through September 4, 2026. Payments received by September 4, 2026 will not incur interest.

If you have any questions regarding your tax bill, please contact Beachwood Borough Hall. Our staff is happy to assist you.

The Borough of Beachwood is aware of recent rat complaints within the community and is actively working to address the issue.

Residents can play an important role by eliminating conditions that may attract rodents. Simple steps such as keeping trash containers securely closed, removing outdoor food sources, cleaning up debris and overgrowth, properly storing firewood, and sealing openings around your home can make a significant difference.

📢 Critical Home Repair Program – Applications Now Being Accepted! 🏠🔨

Northern Ocean Habitat for Humanity is currently accepting applications for its Critical Home Repair Program, which provides critical home repairs and home modifications, including ramps and other ADA-related improvements, for qualifying homeowners.

Program requirements include:

-Home must be located in Northern Ocean County, including Beachwood, and be owner-occupied.
-Home must have been the owner’s primary residence for at least two years.
-Homeowners must be current on mortgage payments.
-Home must be insured.
-Homeowners must meet applicable income guidelines.

If you or someone you know may qualify and is in need of critical home repairs or accessibility modifications, we encourage you to learn more and apply.

🌊♻️ Thank You, Beachwood Volunteers! ♻️🌊

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us for the Beachwood Clean Communities Beach Clean-Up on July 11, 2026! Your dedication and hard work continue to make a positive impact on our community and our environment.

🌿 Event Highlights:
✅ 35 volunteers participated, including members of the Environmental Shade Tree Committee, Beachwood Borough Council, and our Department of Public Works leadership.
🗑️ Together, volunteers removed 49.40 pounds of litter from our shoreline, helping keep our waterfront clean, safe, and enjoyable for all.

Every bag of trash collected and every volunteer hour donated helps protect the natural beauty of Beachwood for future generations. Community pride starts with all of us, and your efforts truly make a difference.

Thank you for giving your time to help keep Beachwood beautiful—we look forward to seeing you at our next Clean Communities event!

The Borough of Beachwood Department of Public Works is proud to introduce our new automated side-loader garbage truck! This investment will enhance the efficiency, safety, and reliability of residential garbage collection, allowing our crews to better serve the residents of Beachwood.

We extend our sincere appreciation to Mayor William J. Cairns and the Beachwood Borough Council for their continued support of the Department of Public Works and their commitment to investing in modern equipment that strengthens the services we provide to our community.

We’re excited to put this new truck into service and continue delivering dependable, high-quality service to our residents.
