The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that Wrong Way Driver Preventative Maintenance and Recertification will be performed Route 8 Southbound at Exit 21 in Beacon Falls. This project is scheduled to occur on Monday, March 24, 2025. The project 0170-3638 consists of Wrong Way Driver Preventative Maintenance and Recertification on Route 8 Southbound at Exit 21 in Beacon Falls.
This project is being performed by State Forces, TAPCO, Fiber Optics Plus and Electrical Representatives.
LANE CLOSURE/DETOUR INFO
Route 8 Southbound, Exit 21 Ramp in Beacon Falls will be closed on Monday, March 24, 2025, from 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. Traffic will be detoured as follows: Continue on Route 8 Southbound to Exit 18 off ramp. Take a left at the bottom of the ramp. Make a left onto Route 8 Northbound then get off Exit 21 off ramp. Take a right at the bottom of the ramp onto Route 42.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this area.
