Hello Beallsville Residents!!! Your Council has planned Community Clean Up Days for May 29th-June 7th. A dumpster will be in the Borough/Post Office parking lot for those 10 days, as well as, back by popular demand, ELECTRONIC RECYCLING!!! Those bins will also be situated in the parking lot.
That's the exciting announcement, now some boring housekeeping stuff.....
No tires in the dumpster or recycling bins, no paint cans. Any large item (such as refrigerators, furniture, etc) please leave it neatly outside of the dumpster, or bins to allow room for others to use them.
This falls right after Pike Days to give a place for all your leftover items you couldn't sell, and right before the 250th Celebration.
I encourage you to take pride in our community and roll up your sleeves, pitch in to make our little town shine!!
Check in on your neighbors...some may need help gathering or transporting their items...if we work together we can make a difference!
If you have any questions, please reach out! (724) 632-5420.

With the weather warming up, I'm sure we will be seeing lots of door to door salesman. I wanted to make you aware that we do have a policy for solicitation. If someone comes and doesn't have a permit, please call the office. Thank you!

Beallsville Borough
Solicitation Information

Please be advised that a permit from the borough is required to solicit business door to door in Beallsville.
If someone comes to your door asking about your electric bill, selling vacuum cleaners, etc, please ask them if they have a permit and to show it to you.
And whether they have a permit or not, you DO NOT have to talk to them or give them any information.
It’s usually not a good idea to do business on your doorstep. While some of these may be legitimate businesses, some of them may be scams or potential thieves casing your property. Please be careful.
Political canvassing for signatures on petitions, etc is exempt from this policy.
