Benefit Bicycle Ride to fund children charities and the Shop With a Cop Program. This ride will have Police Assistance throughout the County with plenty of rest stops and Lunch provided to all riders at the finish. Please come and support a great cause while riding and viewing some of the famous Tomato growing area of Grainger County!!!

At 4:07 PM, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Middlesboro to 7 miles northeast of Clinton, moving east at 25 mph. 60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail are occurring with this storm. Strong winds may damage roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include: Clinton, Maynardville, Sneedville, Rutledge, New Tazewell, Bean Station, Tazewell, Plainview, Harrogate, and Blaine.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building. Torrential rainfall is occurring with these storms, and may lead to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.

A cold front arrival later today may bring strong to severe thunderstorms to the region this afternoon and evening. Damaging winds and isolated flash flooding are the main threats. Also, don't forget about the heat! Many locations will see heat index values soar from 105 to 110°F.
