Rescue Squad Week
This week, we recognize the dedicated men and women of rescue squads across Tennessee and beyond who answer the call day and night — often without hesitation and without recognition.

From vehicle extrications and water rescues to search operations and disaster response, rescue squad personnel stand ready to serve their communities during some of life’s most difficult moments.

Thank you to every volunteer, career responder, family member, and supporter who makes this mission possible. Your commitment, sacrifice, and service do not go unnoticed.

Join us this week in honoring our rescue squads and the lifesaving work they do every single day.

The Town of Bean Station Police Department is proud to offer our Senior Citizen Emergency Watch Program to help keep our senior residents safe, especially with severe winter weather expected this weekend.

This program allows us to have important contact information on file so officers can check on senior citizens during times of bad weather, power outages, or other emergencies. Our goal is to provide peace of mind to families knowing their loved ones are not forgotten when conditions become dangerous.

If you have a senior citizen family member who lives in the town limits of Bean Station, we encourage you to take advantage of this free program. With storms and colder temperatures approaching, now is a great time to ensure your loved ones are accounted for and safe.

For information on adding family members to our list, please contact the Bean Station Police Department at 865-993-5155.
