Note from the website administrator:

Now that the Flood Protection District has declared the emergency flood situation over the social media pages for the City will go offline. Thank you for your questions, shared photos and help with keeping the community informed with the correct information.

The CityofBeardstown.org and the connected social media networks were maintained temporarily to keep a direct line of information to the public about the emergency flood situation. These channels proved to be valuable sources of trustworthy information during the flood events.

We received an overwhelming amount of gratitude from users who were happy with the coverage of the flood events on the website and social media. It was good to know that a source of information to the community was there when it was needed.

Thank you, Beardstown.
