It is with heavy hearts that we announce the recent passing of former Jail Administrator, Harvey Pelfrey.

For almost 16 years, Harvey faithfully served as Jail Administrator, but his impact went far beyond his title. He believed deeply in the importance of the Three Forks family and always wanted the people he worked with to feel like more than just employees, they were family.

Harvey was known for the kindness and respect he showed to those around him. He was good to his employees and treated those in our custody with compassion and dignity. His leadership, friendship, and dedication touched countless lives throughout the years.

The Three Forks family has lost someone who can never truly be replaced. Harvey’s legacy will live on in the many memories, friendships, and lives he touched.

Please keep his wife Donna, family, friends, and all of the Three Forks family in your thoughts during this difficult time. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

The Three Forks Regional Jail family is heartbroken as we mourn another loss, our coworker and dear friend, Dustin "Carp" Carpenter. Carp was more than just someone we worked alongside each day, he was a friend and a valued member of our Three Forks family. His presence, friendship, and the memories he leaves behind will never be forgotten.
During this incredibly difficult time, our hearts are with his wife, Nickia, and their three children. We ask everyone to please keep them in your thoughts and prayers as they face the days ahead.

Carp will be deeply missed by all of us who had the privilege of knowing him and working beside him. The loss of one of our own leaves an emptiness that words cannot truly express, but his memory will forever remain in the hearts of the Three Forks Regional Jail family.

Rest in peace, Carp. You will never be forgotten.

CPC has finished setting up our phones and inmate tablet communication system. Friends/ family can now go to inmatesales.com to purchase phone/ video visit time. Inmates and loved ones will now be available to schedule video visits Monday-Friday 7am-7pm. We will still have in person visitation but only on Saturday for males 7am-7pm AND females on Sundays 7am-7pm. Chirping is now on the tablets.

Three Forks Regional Jail is in the process of upgrading our inmate communication system this week. Combined Public Communications (CPC) is here setting up our new tablet system. Inmates will be able to still text message friends/family but on a tablet device. Other features will be video visitation, mail, online library of thousands of books. If you have communicated with an inmate from our facility recently you might receive a text message asking you to confirm if you would like to continue communicating with the inmate(s). This is a security precaution and is NOT a scam. If you have additional questions, you can contact Combined Public Communications customer care at 877-398-7700. We hope to have the new devices distributed by Wednesday to make communicating with inmates easier and better for family and friends. In person visitation will not be available Tuesday, Wednesday, & Thursday.
