We have been made aware of scam calls targeting family/friends of inmates claiming to be from “Lee County Jail” or Three Forks Regional Jail, and requesting payment for someone in our custody.

Please note that we will NEVER contact you by phone to request debit/credit card numbers or banking information, nor do we accept payments via phone or email. If you receive such a call, it is certain that you are being scammed, as we do not initiate these types of calls. Please share this information to help protect others from scammers.

PSA!

There has been no escaped inmate from our facility. Someone was released from jail today and ordered to go to a rehab facility. When the transporter for the rehab made it into Beattyville with the released subject, they got out and walked off.

I would like to extend my heartfelt appreciation to these fine folks with Christmas behind bars for providing our entire inmate population with gift bags. They drove around 4 hours to deliver it to us. This was a huge blessing to our inmates!
