There is a boil water advisory for the Bear trac community starting at Bea Lane to Ratliff Ridge area please boil your water for 3 minutes and let it cool before using. If you have any questions please call the waterplant at 606-464-1000.

Hello everyone just wanted to let you know Iam out sick right now. Tony Snowden is in charge of things here at the Water Plant, He can answer any question you have. We would like to thank everyone for watching out for the water employees last week at the St .Helen Bridge area while they was working on the water leak. Anythime you see those red trucks parked beside of the road the employees are close so please watch out for them. Thanks

Eveyone that will be traveling along HWY 52 around the ST. Helens Bridge area PLEASE be AWARE OF CITY WATER EMPLOYEES WORKING IN THE AREA ALL DAY TODAY!!!!!!!!!!!!! PLEASE DRIVE SLOW IN THAT AREA AS THE WORKERs WILL BE ON THE BRIDGE AND AROUND EACH END OF THE BRIDGE. THANKS

We finally started feeding the Hydrogen Peroxide here at the Plant its another milestone for Myself and Tony and Tim. We work very hard here at the plant so you our customers can have the best water in the Mountains. As one Lady said that called me no more pink water and I said yes no more pink water I promise. I took me a year but I got rid of that permanganate Im as happy as alot of you all are.

Hey everyone our computers are back up and running here at the plant sorry for for not posting any WaterPlant News. There has been alot going on we have been getting ready for a chemical change I will tell you all about it once we have it all set up and in operation. I think everyone will be suprised with what the chemical is.

I was listening to a radio station a 2 weeks ago It was in Jackson they had some of there City Council Members on a Talk show. Not one Time did I here them talk about the waterplant Operators. We are the most underpaid postion in City and have the most important job (the publics safety)but we go unnoticed till one us hickups, im not talking about Beattyville Im talking about Every WaterPlant in the Mountains.
