🚨 SCAM ALERT 🚨
If you receive a text or phone call claiming to be from “Kentucky Driver Licensing” about unpaid traffic violations, toll bills, or DUI-related fines do not click the link or respond.

These messages often come from international numbers, include suspicious payment links, and use threats like license suspension or legal action to create urgency.

This is a phishing scam designed to steal your personal and financial information. Kentucky agencies will not contact you this way for payments.

Delete the message, report it as spam, and never give out personal or financial info through unsolicited texts.
Stay alert and share to warn others.

Back roads are still covered but passable with caution. The county road department is out in full force salting and plowing. The main roads are in decent condition, but still use caution while driving . I’m very thankful that we did not get hit harder than we did. Stay safe!!

01/25/2026

I am advising that if you do not need to be on the roadways this evening, stay home. The roads are freezing back and are becoming extremely dangerous to be on. If you need emergency assistance/services, please call 911 and we will get to you as soon as possible.

01/21/2026

The Lee County Sheriff’s Office will be out through this winter storm assisting the other county services. We will be checking the roads for stranded drivers as well. If you need law enforcement, call 911 we will assist you anyway we can. It may take longer to get to you but rest assured we will be there. Please plan ahead and stay safe!
