Nexus Care of Beaufort County, a component of Beaufort County Government, helps individuals and families with substance use and co-occurring mental health needs. This Labor Day, celebrate safely and look out for one another. During the 2023 Labor Day weekend, 511 people died in traffic crashes. Of those crashes, 36% involved a drunk driver, and 62% involved a driver with a BAC of .15% or higher. Plan ahead, make safe choices, and choose a sober ride.
