Public Library Foundation of Beaufort County And so, in 2005, the Public Library Foundation was established to raise funds to support the Beaufort County Library System.

We raise funds to support all the branches of the Beaufort County Library System: our goal is to raise a 10 million dollar endowment fund to support library system programs and services now and forever. A study by the Beaufort County Public Library System's Board of Trustees found that there were not sufficient funds to meet the needs and desires of the community for library services.
