The Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help locating 12-year-old Dominic Caruselle, who was reported missing this morning on Hilton Head Island.

Dominic is visiting Hilton Head Island from Upstate South Carolina and was last seen in the Palmetto Dunes area.

There is concern for his safety and well-being, and deputies are actively working to locate him.

Dominic was last seen wearing:
- A white shirt
- Gray shorts
- A black hat
- A black backpack

Anyone who sees Dominic or has information regarding his whereabouts is asked to call 911 or the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office non-emergency dispatch line at 843-524-2777 immediately.

💙 Prioritizing Officer Wellness

Today, Beaufort PD officers had the opportunity to participate in voluntary health screenings provided by the Cummings Foundation. These comprehensive screenings help officers better understand how the physical and mental demands of a career in law enforcement can impact their overall health.

Dr. Baker also joined us during our All Hands meeting to discuss FEAR, how the body responds to fear and stress, and healthy ways officers can recognize, manage, and work through those responses.

Taking care of our community starts with taking care of the men and women who serve it. We appreciate the Cummings Foundation and Dr. Baker for continuing to support the health and wellness of our officers.
