MEMORIAL SERVICE - PARAMEDIC JOSHUA BENNETT

Family, friends, and all whose lives were touched by Josh, are invited to join us in honoring and remembering a life well lived. A memorial service has been scheduled for Monday, August 3, at 3:00 p.m. at Christ Church Anglican, 2020 Bull Street, Savannah, GA. A reception will immediately follow the service. Parking is available in the 37th Street parking lot or at Thomas Square.

High temperatures are expected today, with the heat index reaching around 115°F. Please take precautions to stay safe during this extreme heat.

💧 Drink plenty of water and stay hydrated.
☀️ Limit outdoor activities, especially during the hottest part of the day.
❤️ Check on elderly neighbors, family members, and anyone who may be vulnerable to the heat.
🐾 Bring your pets indoors and make sure they have plenty of fresh, cool water.

After more than 15 years of dedicated service to the residents and visitors of Beaufort County, Crew Chief/Paramedic Sean Fripp is embarking on his next adventure.

Throughout his career, Sean has made a lasting impact through his compassion, professionalism, and unwavering commitment to serving our community. We are grateful for the countless lives he has touched and the example he has set for those who have had the privilege of working alongside him.

Running isn’t even in our job description (unlike some teams), but we still nearly took down the reigning champs!

A massive shoutout to our incredible Beaufort County EMS “IV League Girls” Bed Race team! We might not have taken home the official trophy, but we definitely gave the Beaufort Police Department and the City of Beaufort/Port Royal Fire Department a serious run for their money. 🚓🚒🚑

Huge congratulations to the Beaufort Police Department on their back-to-back wins! We’re starting to think you guys officially added sprinting down Bay Street alongside a gurney to your daily PT program.

All jokes aside, we love our fellow first responders and are proud to stand (and race) beside you all in this community.
