Congratulations to one of our Big Rock Teaching Fellows, Gracie Fulcher, who has officially graduated from ECU and accepted a 4th-grade teaching position at Beaufort Elementary School, the very school where her own education journey began.

Gracie was awarded the Big Rock Teaching Fellows Scholarship to pursue her degree in education and is now returning home to serve students in Carteret County Public Schools.

This is exactly why this program matters. It is more than a scholarship. It is an investment in local students who become local teachers, pouring back into the classrooms and communities that helped shape them.

Please join us in congratulating Gracie as she begins this exciting new chapter. We are so proud of her and cannot wait to see the impact she will have on her students at Beaufort Elementary School.

Welcome to Beaufort Elementary: Sailing Towards Success! ⚓

Health Office Update: This is a reminder from the Health Office that the final day to pick up student medication is June 4th at 12:00 p.m. Any medication remaining in the office after that time will be properly disposed of. Please note that a new medication order will be required for the 2026–2027 school year. If you have any questions, please contact Nurse Anna.

Update to the 5th Grade End Of Year Ceremony: This ceremony will be held on June 3rd at 8:15. We welcome you to join us as we say farewell to our oldest Seadogs. They will walk through the hallways one last time at the end of the ceremony.

Yearbook Status & Apology: We sincerely apologize for the printing errors found in our recently delivered yearbooks. The prints did not match the approved proofs submitted by our staff.As soon as the new shipment arrives, a member of our Office Team will notify families regarding distribution.

Boys & Girls Club Afterschool Cancellation: There will be no Boys and Girls Club afterschool program this week. Please ensure you immediately notify your child’s teacher in writing regarding your student's alternate afternoon transportation arrangements.

Last Day of School & Early Release: This Thursday, June 4th, is an Early Release day and the official last day of school!

Report Cards & Fees: Report cards will be sent home on Thursday. Please note that all outstanding school fees must be paid and all library or school books must be returned in order for your child to receive their final report card.
